Novbahar — Ivory Kashmiri Aari Co-ord Set with Green & Blue Embroidery
Description
There is a particular combination of colours that Kashmir does better than anywhere else in the world — ivory and green, the colour of snow against a pine hillside, of a valley still waking up. The Novbahar Ivory Co-ord Set is built from that palette. The ivory base is clean and bright. The embroidery — leafy Kashmiri Aari motifs in multiple shades of green with soft blue detailing — feels like the valley itself has been drawn across the fabric.
Part of the Novbahar 2026 Collection by KashmirPheran — our first collection of Kashmiri Aari embroidery co-ord sets designed by artisans rooted in the Kashmir Valley — this is the piece that carries the most of Kashmir's natural landscape within it.
Made in Ruby Cotton — lightweight and breathable for long summer days, holding its shape without adding weight. The ivory base is deliberately bright, chosen so the multi-toned green and blue Kashmiri Aari embroidery reads with full clarity — every leafy motif distinct, every shade of green visible against the clean ground.
The embroidery covers the rounded neckline with a subtle notch, full straight sleeves, side panels of the tunic, and the hemline — a generous placement that makes this one of the most embroidery-rich pieces in the Novbahar Collection. The silhouette is a straight-cut tunic with side slits at the thigh, paired with matching straight pants. Relaxed, structured, and true-to-size — the kind of co-ord that earns a second wear before the first one ends.

How to Style
For a summer brunch or daytime gathering — pair with sage green or mint juttis to echo the embroidery, small gold hoop earrings, and a woven rattan bag. Ivory and green is a natural combination — it photographs beautifully outdoors and needs nothing heavy added to it.
For casual everyday wear — wear with white sneakers, a minimal canvas tote, and simple gold studs. The generous embroidery means the outfit is complete on its own — accessories are optional, not required.
For travel — one of the best travel pieces in the Novbahar Collection. Ivory packs well, the green embroidery works across multiple settings, and the Ruby Cotton fabric doesn't crease badly in a bag. A co-ord that looks intentional at both an airport and a destination.
About the Craft & the Artisans
Kashmiri Aari embroidery is one of India's most recognised craft traditions — its leafy and floral motifs drawn directly from the natural landscape of the Kashmir Valley, where the craft has been practised for centuries. The multi-toned greens in this piece reflect the artisan's ability to work with colour gradation — a skill specific to the Kashmiri embroidery tradition, where shades are selected and placed to create depth across a flat surface. The craft takes its name from the aari, a fine hooked needle historically used to draw thread through fabric in continuous chain-stitch loops.
The motifs on every piece in the Novbahar Collection were designed by artisans based in the Kashmir Valley — craftspeople carrying this pattern-making knowledge forward across generations. The embroidery is produced in Kashmir and each co-ord set is stitched and finished there — ensuring the creative and economic value of this craft stays rooted in the community that built it.
At KashmirPheran, we believe Kashmiri craft belongs in a modern wardrobe — not as a tribute to the past, but as a living, evolving design tradition. The Novbahar 2026 Collection is our contribution to that.
