Wandeh Lalazaar – Zafraani Gold Kashmiri Pheran with Chinar, Blossom & Grape Vine Aari Embroidery
Hamiast Fashion
Art: KP.25052-XS
Description
Beneath the snows of Kashmir’s Wandeh, the Valley keeps a secret: the Lalazaar, its meadows of tulips and wildflowers, waiting to burst into colour. Wandeh Lalazaar lets that bloom arrive early. A pheran in Zafraani gold, the colour of saffron and winter sunlight, becomes the canvas for a garden in full flower.
The embroidery is Aari, Kashmir’s fine chain stitch, worked into a cascade of burnished coral chinar leaves, magenta and pink blossoms, clusters of ripe grapes and sage-green fern sprays. It flows from the scalloped V-neckline down one side of the front like a garland caught in the wind. Delicate pink floral trails trace the cuffs, pockets, side slits and hem, and a single small motif rests at the back of the neck.
Joyful, warm and effortlessly elegant, Wandeh Lalazaar is made to brighten the greyest winter day.
