Wandeh Darbar – Kajal Black Kashmiri Pheran with Paisley Medallion & Leaf Vine Aari Embroidery
Hamiast Fashion
Art: KP.25063-XS
Description
Every winter for over a century, the royal Darbar has moved with the season, a procession of courtiers, records and ceremony crossing the mountains. Wandeh Darbar carries that sense of occasion on a pheran of deep kajal black, embroidered entirely in soft sand-gold.
Its Aari embroidery is composed like a royal decree. At the centre lies a paisley medallion around a single lotus, like a court seal. A slender leaf vine traces the V-neckline and then runs from shoulder to hem down both sides and across the front, framing the pheran like the gilded border of an illuminated manuscript. Wide floral bands crown the cuffs, vine trims edge the pockets, and a small floral spray rests at the back of the neck.
Composed, regal and timeless, Wandeh Darbar is made for formal winter occasions and moments that call for quiet authority.
