Novbahar — Cream Kashmiri Aari Co-ord Set with Floral Embroidery
Description
Cream is the colour of unhurried mornings — of linen drying in the valley air, of light before it fully decides what it wants to be. The Novbahar Cream Co-ord Set carries that quality. It is not loud. It does not need to be. The muted rose, olive, and beige Kashmiri Aari floral embroidery scattered across its surface is the kind of detail that takes a few seconds to fully see — and then you cannot stop seeing it.
Part of the Novbahar 2026 Collection by KashmirPheran — our first collection of Kashmiri Aari embroidery co-ord sets designed by artisans rooted in the Kashmir Valley — this is the piece for women who understand that restraint is its own form of confidence.
Made in Ruby Cotton — lightweight and breathable, chosen for its ability to hold a clean, structured silhouette in warm weather without adding weight. Against the cream base, the floral embroidery in muted rose, olive, and beige tones sits close to the fabric in tone — present without being decorative for decoration's sake.
The embroidery is placed across the rounded neckline with a subtle notch, full straight sleeves, and hemline of the tunic — with scattered floral motifs across the front panel and detailed borders running along the pants. Unlike most co-ords in this collection, the tunic has no side slits — giving it a cleaner, more structured line from hip to hem. The silhouette is straight-cut and true-to-size, with a completeness that comes from a considered absence of excess.

How to Style
For office ethnic wear — pair with nude or camel pointed flats, a structured leather tote in tan or cognac, and simple gold studs. Cream in a professional setting reads as considered and calm — exactly the impression a well-chosen outfit should make.
For a summer brunch — wear with ivory or nude block heels, a small rattan or woven bag, and delicate pearl or gold jewellery. The muted floral embroidery against cream is the definition of quiet elegance — it photographs exceptionally well in natural light.
For gifting — the Novbahar Cream Co-ord is one of the most giftable pieces in the collection. Cream is universally flattering, the embroidery is subtle enough to suit most personal styles, and it arrives in a presentation that reflects the care of the craft. A considered gift for weddings, anniversaries, and festive occasions.
About the Craft & the Artisans
Kashmiri Aari embroidery is one of India's most recognised craft traditions — built on centuries of design knowledge specific to the Kashmir Valley. Its floral motifs, drawn from the valley's natural landscape of chinars, wildflowers, and waterways, are placed with an understanding of scale and spacing that takes generations to develop. The craft takes its name from the aari, a fine hooked needle historically used to draw thread through fabric in continuous chain-stitch loops.
The motifs on every piece in the Novbahar Collection were designed by artisans based in the Kashmir Valley — craftspeople carrying this pattern-making knowledge forward. The embroidery is produced in Kashmir and each co-ord set is stitched and finished there — ensuring the creative and economic value of this craft remains inside the community that created it.
At KashmirPheran, we believe Kashmiri craft belongs in a modern wardrobe — worn with confidence, taken into the world, and passed on. The Novbahar 2026 Collection is our contribution to that.
