The motifs on every piece in the Novbahar Collection were designed by artisans based in the Kashmir Valley — craftspeople carrying pattern-making knowledge passed down through generations in the region. The embroidery is produced in Kashmir and each co-ord set is stitched and finished there — keeping the creative and economic value of this craft inside the community that built it.
