Description
On the clearest winter nights in Kashmir, the Kehkashan, the Milky Way, spills across the sky like a river of light. Wandeh Kehkashan draws that river onto a pheran of warm copper rust, the colour of burnished metal glowing by firelight.
Its embroidery is worked in shimmering silver Tilla. Star-shaped jasmine blossoms bloom along curling vines that frame the split neckline and fall in a single luminous line down the front, like stars tracing their path through the night. Matching vines run down each sleeve to delicate scalloped cuffs edged in silver and lilac, and the pockets are finished with a fine silver line.
Minimal, luminous and quietly striking, Wandeh Kehkashan is made for evenings when less says more.
